DESCRIPTION:Spend a day working with our team. Learn skills whilst actively contributing to our permaculture projects. \n\n42 Acres is a wellbeing retreat\, regenerative farm and nature reserve. Our vision is to reconnect with nature\, self and others. Our regenerative “Soil-to-Gut” philosophy continues the traditions of the past and supports our shared future. We grow\, forage and wild-tend in ways that serve the health of people and the planet. We believe that as we nourish the soil\, we nourish ourselves. \nThis energy exchange is an invitation to spend the day working with our team both in our regenerative market garden and our 100% edible ornamental garden. Learn new skills whilst actively contributing to our permaculture projects. \nThe day is designed to be an enriching experience working with us on tasks ranging from planting bulbs to foraging wild teas\, from hugelkultur to sowing wildflowers. There will be an opportunity for meditation\, sharing and nature connection. \nYou’re welcome to stay and explore our land afterwards – take a wild dip in our lake\, discover our secret treehouse or Badger Metropolis! \nImportant Info to Note \n\nGloves and wellies/good boots are necessary\nPlease bring a packed lunch as land work is hungry work!\nForaged teas and fire-side snacks will be provided.\nIf you’re not able-bodied or have issues with mobility please let us know before signing up\, we will do our best to accommodate you if we can.\nThese are working exchanges so please be prepared for this and arrive promptly. We kindly invite you to come for the whole day to get the most out of the experience and cultivate good connections within the group.\nNo experience needed\, just a can-do attitude!\n\nLocation & Arrival \nPlease arrive 10 minutes before we begin.
