DESCRIPTION:This 2-day facilitation training course is designed for people who manage teams\, work with groups in the community\, run events\, chair meetings and facilitate group coaching sessions\, and would like to develop their facilitation skills. \nTickets only on Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/facilitation-skills-for-teams-and-groups-registration-881361464867?aff=discoverfrome  \nIt draws on a number of theories of groups but in its essence\, it is a practical\, hands-on training which draws on the experiences of the participants to develop skills and build confidence in supporting groups & teams and working through challenging group dynamics. \nSign up and learn Edventure style: \n\nby doing\, from each other\, and from experts\nby accessing 121 mentoring after the workshops on topics important to you\nas part of Somerset’s vibrant and forward-thinking community\n\nAbout the workshop lead\, Doug Stewart \nDoug Stewart is currently Edventure’s CEO\, his background is in supporting a range of different groups to reach consensus and tackle difficult subjects; whether that be facilitating leaders with in a variety of organisations to develop high level strategies\, or facilitating the young adults on Edventure’s start-up course to deliver grassroots change. Doug brings a range of skills and facilitation techniques to this 2 day training course. \nAbout the workshop lead\, Colin Atkinson \nColin Atkinson is an Edventure Facilitator who leads our Short Courses and Start-up Course. A free ticket includes a £5 booking fee to encourage attendance and avoid no-shows.
