DESCRIPTION:Take this walk on the wild side and see the natural world through a new lens as Professional Forager George Linklater gives you a window into his world of wild foods and flavours. \nBegin with a wild tea and herb tasting before George Linklater takes you on a guided walk around Rodden Meadow talking through the different habitats that can be found throughout the area and what edible and medicinal species can be found in each one. \nWe will focus on identification of a range of species and how to forage safely and sustainably. \nGeorge will also touch on folklore\, history and medicinal uses. \nAfter the walk guests will be given a guide to identifying 4 plants and will be tasked to find each to help hone your foraging skills and break down the barriers that often keep us from that closer connection with nature. \nFor concessions please contact: explore@onthewildsside.com \nBook your place. \nPart of Great Big Green Week 2023. \n
