SUMMARY:Group bike ride to Mells: Level 2 intermediate
DESCRIPTION:Join us on a friendly social bike ride! \nWe’ll be following a beautiful 11-mile route riding from Frome to join the traffic-free Colliers Way and stopping at Mells Café or The Talbot Inn garden for a well-earned drink and snack (opening times differ so we’ll head to whichever is open!). \nThe route is mostly on quiet country lanes but good road safety awareness will be necessary. This ride will not be fast\, but it is classed as intermediate as there are some steep hills before we reach the Colliers Way (walking at these points is permitted!). No one will be left behind and we have planned in lots of stops along the way – this is a social ride\, not a fitness test or a race. \nThis ride is for adults over the age of 18 and with an average level of fitness. You will need to bring a roadworthy bike. Ebikes and non-ebikes are all welcome. \nIt is free to take part but numbers are limited\, so please book your free place. \nMeet us near the café in Victoria Park\, off Weymouth Road\, Frome\, BA11 1HJ. \nThis Cycle Together event has been made possible thanks to National Lottery funding and is part of Green and Healthy Frome which offers support and activities to make choices that are good for your health and the health of the planet.
