DESCRIPTION:Museumology is a series of workshops during the Frome Local History Festival (12-20 May 2023) that explores different aspects of the collections of Frome Museum that are not usually on display. \nJoin Carolyn Griffiths for round the table conversations about Frome’s cloth history. Discover unusual museum artefacts from former mills and local businesses\, see and chat about photographs and machinery used to produce the ‘Finest West of England Cloth’ until 1965. \nAccessibility: Please note that Frome Museum is located in a listed building on a restricted site and it has not been possible to make it fully accessible. There is a small set of steps at the entrance and another to the room we will be using for the workshop. There will be toilets available\, however they are not fully accessible. \n
