He will also chat about the future of the plant as a very sustainable crop with its potential to replace some fossil fuel based products and support bio-based industries. \nThis talk is another event of our ‘Sewing the Seeds’ Community project which has distributed flax seeds to more than 50 local participants who are growing a metre square of flax in and around Frome. With a practical application\, the project aims to raise awareness of climate change\, the benefits of gardening for wellbeing\, and a greater understanding of how natural fibre clothing can be produced. \n
