DESCRIPTION:Rodden Road Nature Reserve open day\n• Meet and greet\n• 2 hour walk around open areas of Rodden Nature Reserve\n• 2 sessions 10:30am – 12:30pm + 2:00pm – 4:00pm\n• Date Tuesday 11th of June\nMeeting at Rodden Reserve Entrance\, Castiel Rd\, Frome BA12 5LA\n\nRodden Nature Reserve is open for people to visit and learn about what species you can spot as well as how and when to get the best sights of our wonderful wildlife.\n\nThis meet and greet at the Rodden Reserve will help introduce you to the incredible flora and fauna we have in Frome and how we seek to protect\, manage and conserve the area for the community and the wildlife to ensure abundance of biodiversity for generations to come. You can also learn about how the area acts as a vital flood defence for Frome town centre as well as its importance as a nature corridor for so many varied species.\n\n(Please note: Some areas will be closed for the breeding season however Frome Area Wildlife Group will guide you around the open areas as well as the best sites to see the breeding birds)\n
