DESCRIPTION:Sam Crockatt (sax) and Henrik Jensen (double bass) join pianist Keith Harrison-Broninski to play lyrical original compositions \nFor the 9 March 2024 event in Frome Jazz Club’s concert series “Stolen Moments”\, Keith Harrison-Broninski (piano) is joined by Sam Crockatt (sax) and Henrik Jensen (double bass). \nSam and Henrik are among the UK’s leading jazz musicians. Winner of a Parliamentary Jazz Award\, Sam is a powerful\, distinctive\, and supremely accomplished voice on the tenor saxophone with several acclaimed albums to his name. Bassist and composer Henrik has also released several albums and is in demand as a sideman at the forefront of the UK jazz scene. \nDo you ever feel that even your weekends are too busy and demanding? That you need time out\, just to relax? Stolen Moments is a new kind of jazz event. A late Saturday afternoon interlude in the liminal space between day and evening. True down time\, in a beautiful church\, to do nothing but enjoy exquisite modern jazz and delicious cakes. \nTickets are not necessary and entry is free. Just come along to Christ Church\, Frome from 3-5pm . The concerts are informal occasions and you are welcome to drop in and out.
