SUMMARY:Trio Paradis: A Midsummer Night’s Dream
DESCRIPTION:Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano\, Ruth O’Shea – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play a Café Concert on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 1.15pm at Christ Church: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café open from c12.45pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes and listen to live music. It’s c£3.50 for a drink and a cake. \nThe music for June’s concert is inspired by summer and dreams\, and includes an arrangement of Dream Children by Elgar\, Schubert’s beautiful Notturno\, and music by Ivor Gurney\, Faure\, Madeleine Dring\, Mendelssohn and Grieg. \nConcerts last c45mins and entrance is by donation. An RSVP via our website is appreciated\, but you can just turn up – maybe bring a cushion for the pew! \nMore information at www.trioparadis.com. \n
