DESCRIPTION:Trio Paradis play a monthly café concert on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 1.15pm at Christ Church: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes\, or simply relax and enjoy beautiful music in a range of styles. \nAugust’s programme is inspired by means of travel\, from Debussy’s En bateau to Queen’s Bicycle Race\, a ramble to a rocket\, a train to a jet plane\, a funicular railway\, a hot air balloon and a helicopter ride. Music by Bizet\, Dubois\, Villa-Lobos\, Alec Rowley and Richard Rodney Bennett… Children are welcome\, and please bring a bicycle bell if you have one. \nConcerts last c45mins and entrance is free with pay-what-you-feel donation invited. Refreshments – tea\, coffee & home-made cakes – available in the café half an hour before the concert. No need to book\, just turn up – maybe bring a cushion for the pew! \n
