DESCRIPTION:Trio Paradis play a Café Concert on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 1.15pm at Christ Church: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café open from c12.45pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes and listen to live music. It’s £3.50-£4 for a cake and a drink.April’s theme is Birdsong\, with music from a wide variety of eras and styles: Daquin: Cuckoo\, McVie’s Songbird\, Casals’ haunting arrangement of the Catalan folk song\, Song of the Birds\, and more…Concerts last c45mins and entrance – or rather\, exit(!) – is by donation. There’s no need to book\, just turn up – maybe bring a cushion for the pew. \n
