SUMMARY:Valentine's Lamp Lighting Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:Frome’s famous Valentine Gas Lamp has been celebrated for over 30 years. This year\, in 2025\, you are welcome to arrive at the gas lamp from 5:30pm for mulled wine\, fruit and live accordion music. Come rain or shine\, the ceremony will officially begin at 6pm with the lighting of the lamp\, accompanied by Frome’s Town Crier and poets. This year\, loyal lamplighter of over 30 years\, Reg Ling\, will be handing over to Eddie Young to take on the role. It is certainly a well-loved Frome tradition\, and one not to be missed. \n
