DESCRIPTION:All household garments\, packing and storage\, were woven by hand until the industrial revolution. Until 1965\, Frome was known for the manufacture of broadcloth. \nJoin Jade Ogden to understand the process and have a go at the craft of weaving. \nYou will be able to weave a coaster on a frame loom using reclaimed yarn. Introduction – no previous experience required. \nCost of ticket includes materials. \nAdults only. \nAccess: 1st floor lift available. Toilet on 1st floor. \nMaximum number of participants 6.
