DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of presentation and discussion about kindness in the workplace\, about the science of kindness at work\, and about what you can personally do to create a more positive working culture. \nMost of us spend a lot of time at work. Is your workplace a kind place to be? Are you aware of the benefits of kindness in the workplace\, for both employers and employees? How can you take the radical act of spreading kindness out into the world through your work? Join us for an evening of presentation and discussion about kindness in the workplace\, about the science of kindness at work\, and about what you can personally do to create a more positive working culture. \nAs part of the event\, we’re delighted to welcome Helen Rimmer to Frome to speak about the scientifically proven benefits of kindness in the workplace. Helen has a PG Certificate in the Psychology of Kindness and Wellbeing at Work from the University of Sussex\, one of the first courses of its kind in the world\, and runs her own coaching and facilitation business called The Kind Brave Leader. \nThe evening will be led by twentyfifty\, an award-winning management consultancy based in Frome that works with global companies to deliver on their commitments to respect human rights and contribute to a more equitable and inclusive world. Founded in 2004\, twentyfifty has worked in 82 different countries\, been named one of the ‘World’s Best Management Consultancies’ by Forbes Magazine\, and is a certified B Corp\, dedicated to using business as a force for good in society. Kindness is one of the company’s central values\, and members of their team will explain how it has contributed to their success. \nA bar serving wine\, beer\, cider and soft drinks will be open on arrival. \nSuggested donation £5. \n
