DESCRIPTION:This nationally important exhibition will share people’s stories from first to fifth generation of Windrush\, will prompt and search out Somerset’s own connections to migration\, help to uncover histories and experiences of Windrush generation communities who have made Somerset their home and will recognise contributions to Somerset society. \nThis exhibition includes; \n\nphotos from social-documentary photographer Jim Grover\na Caribbean front room installation\na display of cricket connections and contributions\na suitcase with contents to provide an insight into migration and travel\n\nThe exhibition is being staged in Rook Lane Chapel. \nOpening 14th November – 18th December 2024. Admission is free. \n
