DESCRIPTION:Ready for an awesome time? Games\, fun and a lot of exploration and adventure.! \nThere will be a bounty of things from nature ninjas to earth based crafts and projects! Such as making a bow and arrow\, natural clay firing\, and a lot of good quality time around the fire. \nEach day will be different\, however there will also be structure and games! As well as some challenges. 🙂 \nCome join the gang and have an awesome time\, connect with others in a lush woodland space! \nOur Pedagogy\nSometimes less is more and going deeper into one activity is helpful\, so we are open to the child’s directed learning and able to mentor where we can into a given area. We weave awareness building games and practical skills to deepen our connection with self\, other and the world through the lens of curiosity\, exploration and wonder. As well as having a lot of fun out in the woods the staff are highly experienced where safety is our priority.\nOur approach is learning by doing whilst having fun! Neuroscience has shown that we learn best when we have fun. Through quality held and safe environments we have the opportunity to expand our internal edge and develop as a whole person. \nBridging Nature strives to create learning experiences that cultivate curiosity\, awareness and connection to Self\, Other and Nature. \nSome of the potential themes are: \nMaking natural teas\nShelter and Fire Principles\nHow to Purify Water\nEdible and Medicinal Plants\nTree Id\nWhittling\nTracking\nCamoflage and Stealth Training\nGames!\nOutdoor Cooking\nWilderness Survival Skills\nFun! \n
